The Memorial da Resistência is a member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, being a part of the Latin American And Caribbean Network Of Sites Of Memory (RESLAC).
The Coalition is a worldwide network dedicated to valuing and maintaining more than 200 symbolic sites for past and contemporary struggles for rights, democracy, and justice
The members of RESLAC and the International Coalition are museums, memorials, historic sites, public parks, and memory initiatives and organizations that:
- Interpret history through sites.
- Promote Citizenship and social participation through activities that reflect on local or space-related social issues.
- Promote justice and the universal culture of human rights.
